Look at the various ways that arts organisations encourage people to visit and participate in their programmes. Discuss the role of social media and explore the process and purpose of design in the arts. There will also be opportunity to share ideas and discuss your own work with peers and arts professionals.
Claire Bryden
Claire Bryden is a communicator, marketer, editor and writer. Claire works at Exeter Phoenix and Futurespace Magazine developing and implementing digital engagement and marketing strategies. She organises and hosts a monthly social event called Exeter pop_up, a creative networking and showcase event in the south west.
Rowan Green
Rowan Green works in arts marketing and design. As an independent graphic designer he has worked with a range of arts organisations. He currently works at Spacex as press and marketing officer and Arnolfini as associate designer. - Curating

Bryony Gillard, Arnolfini
In this hands-on session, explore what curating can mean in different contexts. This event will be a chance for aspiring curators to discuss the role of the curator, share ideas and find out about possible career paths.
Bryony Gillard
Bryony is Assistant Curator at Arnolfini, previously freelance Programme Assistant for Plymouth Arts Centre since 2009. She is also PVAC associate artist for Plymouth College of Art and co-director of an artist led space Project Space 11. Last year she jointly curated ‘Come to Ours’, a programme of fringe events to coincide with the British Art Show 7.
