1 March - 1 May 2006
The X-Panel is a group of 9 young people who are interested in contemporary art. In Spring 2006 the panel spent an intensive 6 weeks involved in all aspects of curating and planning an exhibition. This culminated in a youth-directed event, which aimed to engage young people in gallery life and make a gallery environment less intimidating.
The brief given to the panel was to curate an exhibition, which could run alongside the current show by Ori Gersht, showing sensitivity towards the themes, the medium and the presentation.
The X-Panel project is continuing. If you are aged 16–21 years click here to find out how to get involved.
