The X-Panel searched to find an artist, researching
through different sources including internet-based artist databases,
degree show catalogues, local artist press and submissions to the
gallery.
Each member of the group then presented the artists they had found, giving a brief presentation about the art, their feelings, likes and dislikes about the work. Members of the group were torn between two artists, and after a long debate, regarding practicalities and logistics, they collectively decided to exhibit Nicola Curtis’ Earthed, as it would work best alongside Ori Gersht’s work and in the given space.
